Music that moves! That’s the way to describe Copperhead. From the music to the high-energy show they bring to the table. If you like a party mixed with your dancing, then it looks like you have found your band. They know what makes a good show since they were all fans first. They deliver the fun every time. Copperhead is a four-piece Texas band from Amarillo. Jeff Williams does the singing and rhythm playing. Gabe Dixon also sings a few and lights up the lead guitar. Aaron Balderas and Chris Hodges fill out the rhythm section at bass and drums. Copperhead bas been blessed with a group that brings top-notch talent to the venues and approximately 70 years of combined experience to the show. That’s not too bad for a band that the average age is 29 years old. Even though they act 18 sometimes. Copperhead is about to release it’s next album titled “Remedy”. The CD has been in the works for a couple of years from Dallas to Amarillo to Nashville and the quality of the music reflects just that, as it is far beyond what “When The Boys Hit Town” could have ever hoped to have been. At the printing of this press kit, “Remedy” is just weeks from it’s release. A release that Copperhead thinks will take the Texas Music industry by surprise. Copperhead has come a long way from their first gig. It was supposed to be their one and only show for a bar-owner/friend but kept rolling until it snowballed into a Bud Light sponsorship and shows at some of the biggest clubs in Texas, including Graham Central Station and Midnight Rodeos. They’ve done shows and fairs with the biggest stars in the Texas and Nashville scenes. Including Pat Green, Billie Joe Shaver, Charlie Robison, Jack Ingram, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Cooder Graw, Kevin Fowler, Tracy Byrd, Chad Brock, Rascal Flatts, Great Divide, Cory Morrow, Johnny Bush, Jason Boland, and Mark Wills just to name a few. They get to travel all over entertaining and there’s not a lot more a musician could ask for. These guys just simply put on a good show that makes people tell others. It’s high-energy and it’s fun to be a part of. If you don’t watch out, you’ll find yourself in the middle of a party. That’s what Texas Music is all about and that’s who Copperhead is.

I first saw these guys in Nazerath, TX for the 'Suds N Sounds'-also known better as "The German Fest"-when they shared the stage with artist like Aaron Watson and Jake Kellen. Nothing better when you agree with what they have to say...DANCE BITCHES! Thats not the only event though, ALPINE TX is one of my favorite places to hang out with Copperhead. The energy that the fans there and the band have is out of this world. I mean how many times can you say that a Texas Music Artist hangs out with a bunch of college students watching division III football. None the less we all drink cold beer and some drank it from insulation fisted foam for a koozie. The band knows how to interact with their true fans! We might not know every word to every song but we all do know how to put down some cold beer. From DJ Rockin' D at KSRU 90.1fm and from everyone in Alpine, Thanks for the good ole times and many more gigs to come! \~/ DANCE BITCHES!
