Hope & Hostility began as Rob & Bethany Golden, wanting to share their lives through their music. After playing together in a church setting for 7+years, they started playing open mic nights around town and debuting their original music. They quickly caught the attention of other local musicians, as their style(Americana/Folk/Roots-Rock) was very unique to the area. What began as a duo, has become a trio, with long time friend and old band of Robs, Shae Vivant joining on electric guitar and percussion. Hope & Hostility's music is directly and strongly influenced by their personal lives and faith. The name of Hope & Hostility is a direct reflection of their desire to bring a renewed sense of hope to anyone who has ever felt unloved, forgotten, or unreachable.  We, as a band, want to bring hope back into a world of hostility, to love regardless of race, gender, religious or world views, sexual preference or physical appearance, to LOVE period.
