With the February 2011 release of his debut album, "Fireworks", Hudson Moore — Fort Worth-born 21-year-old senior at the University of Texas has put school on hold to follow his dream. The album captures Moore's original style of songwriting and sound: alternative Texas country laden with rock, soul, blues and pop written around a groove and a melody.
His debut album is “full of finely crafted pop rock,” and he has “keen understanding of mainstream country radio. Songs such as ‘When I’m With You’ and ‘Too Much and Not Enough’ would fit well alongside cuts by the likes of Pat Green or Cory Morrow.”
According to the Austin-American Statesman, “This 20-year-old University of Texas student has got mad potential. If you’re too old for Bieber, but not ready for Nick Cave, we’ve got your melody man.”
After touring for less than one year, Moore and his six-piece band have already conquered the Billy Bob's stage and now made it to the famous Austin City Limits Festival- Moore has also caught the ear of notables all over Texas, Nashville, TN, and Los Angeles, CA. He and his band have become known for putting on amazing live performances, filled with energy and enthusiasm, making it a unique experience every time. But Moore's heart lies with his connection to his fans and inspiring as many as possible.
