His music reflects the versatility of his songwriting, diverse vocal range, and his enthusiasm for true country music; all of which are the ingredients, which make him extremely appealing to a wide variety of listeners. Whether Randy is performing an acoustic show or backed up by a full band, his dynamic personality and extraordinary stage presence makes him a delight to watch. Anyone who sees Randy perform in person or listens to his music can immediately appreciate his passion for real country music.

Randy has received many accolades and awards.  In 2008 the Texas Music Association nominated him for Producer of the Year, Album of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, Entertainer of the Year, and Live Band of the Year! He won the award for Male Vocalist of the Year.  Randy has also been nominated for the 2010 Texas Music Entertainer of the Year.

Randy’s latest release “Heroes, Legends, Friends, and Me” is his first live album.  The project was recorded in the historic Fort Worth Stockyards and includes many songs from Randy’s influences that have been a part of his arsenal for years.  Along with legendary players Reggie Rueffer, Derek Spigener, Chad Rueffer, Ron Stafford and Jerry Abrams, the album shows the energy and showmanship of The Randy Brown Show.  His two previous albums, “Never Heard of Him” (released in 2005) and “Hard Face to Face” (released in 2007) have been played on radio across the country and around world.  The first single from his latest studio album, “All Liquored Up”, stayed on the Texas Music Chart for over 15 weeks in 2009.  Listeners and disc jockeys have praised Randy for his versatility and the connection he makes with each recording.

Randy grew up in the heart of Cowtown - Fort Worth, Texas, USA. This part of Texas provided him with a steady dose of hardcore honky-tonk, Texas country, and western swing.  His youth was filled with rodeo dances, chuck wagon campfires and big dancehall nights.  Randy’s earliest memories are of cowboy suits, twin fiddles and crying steel guitars setting the stage for a honky-tonk night in Fort Worth.  Every Saturday night in Fort Worth was a who’s who of real Texas music.

Randy was raised on this music and every one of his performances MAKES every night a Honky-Tonk Saturday Night!

Sure is great to know that someone has a voice and natural ability to sing in the classic western swing style, and cross the bridge at the same time to be recognized in the Texas Country music scene. Great CD!
