I bought this on a whim--and it is some of the best money I have spent on music recently. These are early songs, according to the CD, but there is a great deal of promise found within the work. The guitar work could be right off of Willie's earlier work,and Jack seems to be getting his sea legs with his masterful writing--Beat Up Ford, the first cut, is definately one that reminds us of summer, friends, and life's transitions. I haven't taken this out of my CD player since I bought it; I have decided to go in search of other works as well. Texas music at its best--thanks, Jack.
