by AJ 8/20/2007 I think this is a great album, I like jack blue, its a great song. if you dont like his music, you might want to go back to your nashville country
by Kyle 8/13/2007 First off, the recording production on this album is terrible. The guitar sounds screechy and tinny, instead of full, and there is hardly any bass at all. Needs to be remixed BAD. Second, it's more of the same ol' same ol' with this guy. Guy shoots someone, guy runs from cops, so-and-so is dead, he's becoming a cartoon character of himself, afraid to take risks, like a Robert Earl except darker, playing the same song over and over. Some may like it, but I wish sometimes he would do something really different. He used to be my favorite TX singer, and he is a super talent, but he is stagnating.
by Scott 9/7/2006 Chris Knight brings raw emotion to his lyrics. His tales about jail, guns, hard luck, and the outlaw lifestyle are conveyed so crisply you can't help but wonder if this guy is writing from experience.
