Um who cares about Cody Canada, this album is awesome. Personally Cody Canada wouldn't know good music if it bit him in the - buy this album.

This is pretty much just what you'd expect from Isbell: good crunchy, Stones-y rock and a few ballad style Southern soul tunes. There's plenty of different styles thrown in but the flat out rockers are the best with the exception of "Dress Blues," the best tribute to a soldier I've heard in a long time. "Magician" is great too.

This is a great album. Jason was the main reason DBT became any bigger than a novelty act. Hell, Cody Canada stripped the DBT sticker off his rig after Jason left. A gem.
