Like his other CD's, Randy assembled a phenomenal blend of music genres. No two songs sound alike. He carries us from blues to ballads to west side sound to chicano blues mixing his amazing voice and versitle intrumentations. On the 7th hole at the Mission Del Lago Golf Course there's a small sign that says, "Randy Garibay made a hole-in-one here on such and such a date." The only bigger hole is the one left in the music world with his departure. I miss him still.

This is an incredible album from the most versatile and talented Chicano Bluesman in Texas. Randy's voice is soulful and soaring and has to be one of the best of any on the scene; his guitar playing is extraordinary and his original music is wonderful. His bilingual lyrics and music capture the Chicano experience. Randy is totally unique. The more I listen to this album the more I love it.
