A really good record. Musicianship, again, is top-notch. This guy puts everything he has into each song. Well worth picking up. I think his next album should take a few chances with production, but until then, I'll be enjoying this one just fine. Good stuff.

This band blew us away. It wasn't some pre-packaged Texas act - it was exactly what Texas music should be. A bunch of guys in t shirts and jeans playing songs. They played their heart out and everyone was grooving. There was this one part where the band started to really get in a groove and he had them tight, TIGHT like they were dead-on. The music was rapid fire, bam bam bam every song was better than the last, and it was getting really intense. After the show he was almost like a mysterious Elvis figure - where did he go? - but it's cool, after a show like that the audience was exhausted and left totally speechless. Simply one of the best Texas country shows I have ever seen. We bought the album and blasted it all the way home, it's a killer.
