After a fantastic launch year of the LoneStarMusic Awards in 2009, we are proud to present the 2010 LoneStarMusic Awards. We have expanded the Awards to include two new categories, as chosen by voters last year: Best Vocal Performance – Female and Live Music Venue of the Year.

We added twelve new people to last year’s list of thirty experts working in Texas and Red Dirt Music to help us choose this year’s nominees. With so much great music released in 2009, it wasn’t easy to narrow each category down to five, but the tough job is now in your hands – to select just one winner in each category.

Once again we are limiting the number of official ballots. One is included with each copy of the January/Febraury 2010 issue of LoneStarMusic Magazine. Mail it in to us at 1243 Gruene Road, New Braunfels, TX 78130, or if you are in the New Braunfels area you may drop it by the store in person. Only original ballots from the magazine will be accepted; no photocopies. All ballots must be postmarked no later than February 28th.

In addition to the paper ballot, each person who is a subscriber to LoneStarMusic’s email newsletter will receive one ballot tied to their email address at some point during the month of February. If you are not currently a subscriber, you may click here to sign up.
