Brett's got an amazing voice that tastes like Cajun-flavored beef reared in Texas - uniquely southern, but with an intriguing range of roots.
The songs also have a hint of spice and plain-talking sense.
'One more day without you' is mellow and mature while 'My last name' is a gritty reflection that let's you know where Brett's coming from. However, songs like 'Meet me in La Grange' and ' Small Town World' show that this hugely talented singer-songwriter is going places.
Thanks Brett
Solid debut, honest & down to earth.
Brett is a true Texas singer/songwriter and this album is great. The nicest guy you'll ever meet, and a natural performer, I promise it's worth the money if you can catch him in concert. From someone who's shared the stage with him, I can tell you that crowds love his music.
The collection of personal songs struck a sentimental cord with this old married couple. Both lyrically and musically he shows great maturity. Pay close attention to track 4, which sounds like it was crafted in the Nashville ivory towers and destined for national airplay.
WOW I was at this guys cd release party and he sounded UNREAL. Then after I sobered up a little and kicked in his tracks in my hemi... JAYSUSSSSS
This dude IS FREAKINN AWESOMEE!! Definantly one to put in your cd case. You makin the cove proud son ,,, see ya at the bigtime.. FASHIZZLE!!!!
This is a good cd through and through, but number 9 is a great song.......
Heard him passing thru Texas recently. He got the "it". This kid reminds me of a young Pat Green. Great singer, great performer.....really fun show. I'd put my money on him. Good Luck Kid!
You must see this man perform live! I couldn't have been more impressed. Brett Mouton has whatever it is that makes you want to listen to him, and to hear more. His heart navigates his songwriting. This one doesn't dissapoint.
