EYB’s previous album LIFE AT BEST scored back-to-back chart-toppers with the DOUBLE PLATINUM smash "Crazy Girl" and PLATINUM hit "Even If It Breaks Your Heart." The former was also named Billboard’s 2011 #1 Country Song of the Year and won the 2012 ACM Awards Song of the Year while the latter was nominated for GRAMMY Best Country Song, CMA Single of the Year, Song of the Year as well as ACM Single of the Year and Song of the Year.
 
For the third consecutive year, EYB is nominated for Vocal Group of the Year at the ACM Awards, airing April 6 on CBS at 8P ET.

I really love the Level CD. The first two tracks are my favorite but really don't dislike any song on the CD. Which I usually do. BTW Hombre why must you label? Why can't we all just call it good music (or bad if you don't like it) why must it fit a mold of either country rock pop etc? Labels are highly overrated.

I can't stop listening to their music, but what impresses me the most is the refreshing, downhome, not-arrogant personalities of the mambers of the Eli Young Band. No matter your status or age, these guys sing their hearts out to you personally. Luv ya guys!

Musically very good, sounds good. Lyrically they seem to struggle a lot, even to fitting the right amount of words in a line. The thing that bothers me about EYB id calling them country. They are about as country as Matchbox 20 or Eagle Eye Cherry or Jacob Dylan are (were). It's pretty much pop rock and when you call it country then it might take time/airplay away from someone that is really country or "Texas Country". Why they get airtime on country stations is beyond me. I think it illustrates that what is happening is that country (on country radio) is really turning into rock, generally good rock but rock for the most part.

The CD is one of those that you don't skip around on. You listen all the way through. Every song is real and honest. They also sound amazing live.

Eli Young band is the best band out there right now. They are unlike anything else that you hear on the radio. Mike's voice sounds absolutely great on this cd(and every cd) and James blows me away wih his guitar playing. The songs really connect and I think this is an amazing cd that everyone should own.
