I brought about 15 people to the Firehouse who had never heard a lyric of the Eli Young Band and they fell in love. Ive been talking about them for many months and finally people are understanding what Ive been saying.

Abou the best thing you could say about this stuff: Run of the mill. The comparison to mediocre Rascal Flatts is pretty much valid

I really like these guys. They put on a hell of a show and their cd Level has some great guitar rocking soul.I don't think they peg themselves as rock or country. But I think your wrong if you say it's not Texas Music. Texas Music is free not to be Nashville, or LA. It's just pure expression from your heart, no formulas. These musicians have to play, empty bar or sold out stadium. If your lucky you'll find people who feel what you play and support you. Who are we to judge.

Just because Mike Eli actually has a good voice(I.E---all Texas bands) everyone wants to say they sound like Rascal Flats but they rock so much harder. Charlie is right...those of you that are hatin on these guys are just burnt out, jealous musicians that couldnt make music to save your life so you sit on your computer and diss the others who've made something successful out of themselves. I would by this CD so many times over to make up for you dumbasses. Eli Young Band, please keep rocking.

This is album is by far better than any of the CD's I've heard coming out of Texas(and by a long shot more gritty and soulful than Rascall Flatts). These band is doing something different. Those of you who think otherwise dont own the album and our just jealous--Rock Star(Burnt out, unsuccessful musician)--Get your own band. This ones mine.

Eli and his young band have done nothing but go off the deep end of the pool since their beginning. Rascal Flatts would be proud that there's such a copy cat act out there but what's really pathetic is that they're honestly no where near as talented as Flatts. They've never been country. For a moment there, they seemed like they wanted to try on the sissy frat rock hat, but now, there are no apologies for these bubble gum backstreet Texas rejects. At least they have a record deal, but it's clear that they certainly are using music to make a few dollars and won't be around long enough for you to remember one single lyric when the label signs the next flavor of the month. I suppose that it's really par for the Texas/Red Dirt circuit.

Terrible, very poppy, not enough country, and over produced.
