Mile by Mile is how Honeybrowne has gained its large, loyal, and growing fan base over the years. Mile by Mile also happens to be the title of the bands fourth studio release on Smith Music. Strong songwriting, edgy musicianship, and availability to their fans made, and have kept, Honeybrowne a staple in the regional Texas Music circuit for ten + years. Mile by Mile, produced by one of Austin's best, Mark Addison (Bob Schneider, Ian Moore, The Summer Wardrobe, etc.), is a must have for music lovers who dig roots-rock, americana, and alt-country sounds, and will undoubtedly help Honeybrowne continue its reign atop the Texas Music scene. Fresh off tour, supporting fan favorite Something To Believe In, released in late 2005, Honeybrowne took some personal time off to welcome two new additions to the clan. Lead singer and songsmith, Fred Andrews, and drummer Stephen Bres both had baby boys in the past year, inspiring them to pen the heart-felt "Personal Lullaby", one of ten tracks off of Mile by Mile. Other stand out tracks include the upbeat tune "Yesterday's News", and the laid back and Wilco-esque sounds of "Help Me Find My Way".

I can only say that this band is absolutely awesome. Fred's voice is outstanding and Alex's guitar work is incredible. Add Jake's bass and Brian's drums and the entire band sound is unique and terrific. Plus the original songs both lyrically and musically show great talent. All I can say is keep going strong and get another new CD out soon. I've almost worn out "Good For Nuthin" from overplaying it on my car cd.

What an awsome band. Hands down, the most fun I have had watching a band perform. Acuna, Mexico will not be the same. I ordered your CD today.

Saw Honeybrowne live for first time at DiscoRodeo in Raleigh, NC. They opened for Pat Green. Great concert! For $21 this concert was a bargain. I felt like I saw 2 headliners. I have their cd's so I knew they were good. Their live performance exceeded my expectations!! Great band!!

Honeybrowne has a very unique style that blurs the lines between Texas rock and Texas country. These guys are incredible to listen to. Fred has great writing abilities. As far as the new album goes, I'd give it ten stars out of five. There are too many good songs to pick a favorite but so far at our club they like "Fall into you". This is a band that you have to see live. Make a roadtrip if you have to, They will not dissapoint you. Do yourself a favor, buy this album. Then tell your friends to go to the show with you............Brad

i totally agree jim. that show i mentioned in my other post was awsome. they played at a really small venue, not like the guys are used to. they looked like they felt so out of place. well anyway me and group of friends were the only ones out of the 30 people there who had heard them before so the guys took requests from us and basically played us a private show. afterwards we got spit some bs with the guys it was so cool. real down to earth guys who really love what they do. and the cd is starting to grow on my now. :) keep rocking guys!

alot of people believe that albums are made with a, shall we say, a package mentality. If that is the case, then this album is the total package. If you want rock, then go to "bridges", if you want some 80*s type music go to "fIRST TO KNOW or the ghost song, if you want a bad ass love song go to "lullaby", if you want a kiss -my- ass - throw it to the wind song go to "good for nutin" I know this does not cover all the bases, but damn near close, and if you want to meet some really nice people then go to a Honeybrowne show and introduce youself to fred, alex, brian and last but not least jake. You will not be sorry. Thanks you all, jim and donna

First of all let me say that i've been listening to Honeybrowne for the better part of 4 years and love em to death. Unfortunatley this cd is a major step back for the band, although there are some good songs on the cd. Lyrically the songs are terrible compared to earlier songs, but the song "tonight with arms open wide, we might kiss till our tounges are tied" (forgot the name) and "breaking away" have excellent lyrics. vocally fred should be the only one singing, that other guy shouldn't be allowed to at all. I'll still go see the band infact i'll be seeing them in austin this saturday. Sorry to say but i expected much more and i am quite sad at the outcome. Chris is right though, it's hard to stay ontop with an everchanging band, Clay should have stayed, but those were the good ole days.
