The Lost Trailers bio we used to have up from their label compared the group to Kenny Chesney and phrased it as a good thing. We decided to update it ourselves here at LSM. Our take: The Lost Trailers are a Georgia-based quintent that used to rock until they sold their souls for a few coppers and a support slot on tour with the pec-implanted demon of Nashville. Now they play the same weak-ass country music wallpaper you can hear anywhere. Welcome to the Woods is a great disc, but steer clear of any of their CDs released after 2004.

Ok I am at a lost for the negative reviews. Yes Ryder takes the lead vocals on all but one song, but they are all very good songs. I loved the album on the first listen and that is rare! These guys write all their stuff and they do it the right way. 5 stars for the new lost trailers album!!!

As a huge Trailers fan, I am very sad to say, this CD is a large let down. I was unaware that The Lost Trailers and Sony had moved Stokes totally out of the spotlight. Large mistake and it shows on this CD!! What happened to the “Rock Band?”

I say we give this "Honorary Lone Star" a dishonorable discharge.

I never would have dreamed I'd give this band only one star. But when I listened to the new cd if I hadn't known it was the same band, I never would have guessed the band that put out the amazing record that is Welcome to the Woods would have put out this new one. No one can deny there is a big, big difference in the two records. And I must say I'm not a fan of the new one. I think I'll go pop in Welcome to the Woods...I need to get that out of my head.

Ugh. Perilously close to losing their Honorary Lonestar status with this effort.

i just saw them play last night in OKC and i was embarrased that my friends heard it. I invited like 8 people to go see this band I told them was awesome and by the time the concert started I had to apoligize profusely. THEIR NEW STUFF IS AWFUL! I paid to hear the Welcome to the Woods Lost Trailers, not Big and Rich or Tim McGay. I was embarrased, It was generic country at its worse. Apparently they decided to go the Pat Green route and completely sell out. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS EXTREMEMLY GENERIC POP RADIO COUNTRY.

The Lost Trailers are a great band!!! They are a mix of rock, country and their own original sound. Everyone who goes to their shows ends up on their feet singing to the music. They have amazing energy and a great following of fans. They need to come back to TEXAS!! Very soon...
