Micah grew up in Luling, Texas, a small farming and ranching community between Houston and San Antonio. It was there where he developed his love for country music. “My grandfather and I would get up early in the mornings to check cattle and listen to AM country radio; that’s when I fell in love with the solid gold sounds of Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings and Buck Owens.” Micah eventually found a new home in San Marcos, Texas, home of legendary country artist George Straight and hot spot for Texas country music. “The first time I saw the Derailers at Cheatham Street Warehouse I knew that’s what I wanted to do.” After two years of playing in garages and on back porches Micah finally found the missing pieces that would become the Rambling Fever Band. The chemistry between Ryan and Shane Crumpton, Jesse Esquivel, and steel guitar player Matt Harber is undeniable.
