After the success of "Dark Side of a Small Town" and the bench mark recordings of "Soul Shine" Michael O'Neal releases his latest work "Learning as I Go". A collection of new songs wrapped in a 6 panel Digipak that is as entertaining and as nostalgic as the music itself. A ten year veteran of the music scene, Michael O'Neal is known for his heart felt and emotion driven writing. Stories of life, laid over rock, and folk with a touch of blues, "Learning as I Go" is no exception. Twelve all new tracks of life, love, both lost, and new, clearly his greatest work yet. Excellent Songwriter
Hands down the best story teller I've ever listened too. His songs suck you in and won't let you go untill far after the song is over. You have too listen to the his cd's at least 3 or 4 times to truly get how great his songs are. 10 years down the road people in the little town of Paris will be lying to thier friends telling them about how they knew O'Neal so well. I just wish they would figure it out now. Catch him live and you won't regret it, I promise. Onealonline.net

Michael has it all. Good looks, good wife, good sounds. His albums are like an addiction. The more you listen the more you hear. The more youhear th emore you listen. I have flat wore out three of his first CD. If you haven't got one of his CD's..you really should. O'Neal is the modern day Bob Dylan/Waylon Jennings hybrid. A little country a little rock a little Dylan all wrapped up in one wrapper.

I moved here from the Northeast two years ago and have heard many up and coming groups - when I saw Michael O'Neal perform I knew he was special and "out of the box". The mere fact he writes his own music is awesome. Each song tells a story; each word is understood; and it speaks to the soul. His future is bright.

I met Michael about four years ago, and he hadn't even picked up a guitar yet.He turned me on to some great music back then...guys that I am still hooked on to this day and will be for life. When Oneal did pick up a guitar I knew that writing songs is what he was put here to do. "Dark Side of A Small Town" is the most accurate account that I have seen or heard of what goes on when the sun sets in a small town. Oneal is a great songwriter, an even better person, and I am proud to call him friend. So buy this album, go get a twelve pack, find some seclusion, and let your mind go. But pay close attention, cause I bet there's a song or two on here about someone you know. Shad Blair

Michael has an exceptional talent for crafting lyrics that connect with the listener on an individual level. He seems to pour his soul into the vocals and music, painting vivid pictures of the dark side of a small town. Rapidly winning fans along the way. Jimmy Ware Jr. Waresville Halle Greenville, Texas
