Needless to say, because I'm a fan of great country music, I'm a huge fan of Radio Free Texas. They play the perfect mix of well-known artists like Cross Canadian Ragweed, Willie Nelson, Reckless Kelly, and Waylon Jennings, while still giving props to the lesser-known guys, such as Mark McKinney, Stewart Mann & the Jonesboro Revue, and Bart Crow Band. It's a country revolution... for your ears.

Radio Free Texas is my home away from home. Everyday at work I have the music going and the girl I share an office with doesn't have a choice but to listen to great music all day! I told her right after she was hired, "it's just one of the perks of the job." Keep spreading the word about this great scene and the wonderful music these guys have made available for us.

There is no better supporter of all types of Texas Music than RFT. The two and half days of live coverage of Bigfest in San Marcos (6/29-7-1/07) was truly remarakble and did more for Texas music in that short time than most Texas stations do all year long. Thanks, RFT.
