How do you describe Shane Rogers? While the following may sound overblown and questionable in it's accuracy, the guys think it makes them sound really cool so listen up. Shane Rogers grew up in the small West Texas town of Canyon just south of Amarillo. Like the wind and rain that shaped the nearby Palo Duro, the songcraft of Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash and Merle Haggard cut and fashioned Shane's soul with the stories of honky tonks, hard living, and bad women. Some time later, the strains of rock and roll also entered into his life and became the catalyst for what was to become. If the populous knew what the future had in store for them they would have started hiding the womenfolk right then and there. But the world would have to wait a little longer. After eight years of teaching Marines how to kick ass, Shane returned to West Texas. Eager to unleash a new musical vision to the masses, Shane joined forces with the Texas Roadhouse Band in 2001. Known for their blistering live shows and tight three part harmonies, Shane Rogers and the Texas Roadhouse Band have quickly found themselves doing shows with the likes of Cross Canadian Ragweed, Jason Boland and Pat Green to name a few. 2003 saw a new chapter unfold for Shane Rogers. The release of "Texas Kind of Mood" proved what many die hard fans have known for some time. It's music to fall in love to, have a heartbreak, kick someone's ass and party till your mind melts all in one package. Shane's songwriting can hit you like two fists of barbwire and leave you bleeding only to come back with a ballad so sincere and heartfelt that you forgive him till the next round. We invite everyone to come to a live show or grab the new CD, pop a cold one and join the growing army of listeners that know that Shane Rogers and the Texas Roadhouse Band is a new musical force to be reckoned with.

You know a friend of mine had turned me on to Shane and his band a few years back, I recently got the chance to go and see them live for the first time. It wasn't the same as I thought they were, all new guys and I was kind of turned off. Shane was half drunk and the band was all different. So sorry, but I think I will move on.

The band is still together and still wonderful. They do have new members but its for the better. Michael - the lead guitarist is young and plays beautifully. I can't wait to see how he is sounding as he gets older and more experience. Kevin the drummer - the man knows his way around the sticks. Shane just has a voice of an angel!!! I have been to several of their shows recently and am more impressed each time. Each one of these guys are talented and super sweet to go along with it. If you don't have one of thier CDs you need to get it. If you can catch a live show - its so worth it.

So you know...
There is still a band! They didn't split up. There has just been a change in personnel! Happens all the time! The change is a good one. I have already seen a show! You can rest assured that you have not heard the last of the Shane Rogers Band. Take care of that CD and YES, there will be an uprising and a new CD will come of it!

I liked Shane and all the guys. Shane could sing and all the guys could play. Yes they were all older . but thats where their experience came from. I did hear they broke up though. that sucks. There is no way it will be the same, just take your Cd and maybe it will be the last album!!!!You know, like the famous last CD from Shane Rogers. It was a group effort and without the group its just not the same.

Its funny how so many people are quick to judge Shane and the band. Really what does age matter, if you have honestly experienced a live Shane Rogers Band show then you would know it is a Bad A** live show and their age has no effect. And if half of the people who post negative comments actually knew Shane they would know how passionate he is about his music. Shanes music is great and his shows are awesome. Check it out before you are quick to judge on someone elses opinion. I have and now I am a fan!!

?????
Kyle, do you have any idea how old anyone in this band is? Did you write reviews to Pat Green, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Jason Boland, Tommy Alverson Roger Creager and tell them to leave the singing to the younger bands? I think not. I personally invite you out to a Shane Rogers show and we will see who has the middle bulge. PLUS....I believe that anyone in the band can out party you...keeping in mind that they are "middle aged" as you put it. Come out and introduce yourself!

WOW! That is harsh, 20 years? You are talking Kevin would have still been in elementary! I think that when you are an artist you have the priviledge of singing whatever and about anything you would like! No matter what your age! Middle bulges? WHO CARES!! The songs are great, the stage show is awesome and if you know them in person, you know that no matter what you say.....you can't bring them down! Keep On Keepin On!
