How do you describe Shane Rogers? While the following may sound overblown and questionable in it's accuracy, the guys think it makes them sound really cool so listen up. Shane Rogers grew up in the small West Texas town of Canyon just south of Amarillo. Like the wind and rain that shaped the nearby Palo Duro, the songcraft of Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash and Merle Haggard cut and fashioned Shane's soul with the stories of honky tonks, hard living, and bad women. Some time later, the strains of rock and roll also entered into his life and became the catalyst for what was to become. If the populous knew what the future had in store for them they would have started hiding the womenfolk right then and there. But the world would have to wait a little longer. After eight years of teaching Marines how to kick ass, Shane returned to West Texas. Eager to unleash a new musical vision to the masses, Shane joined forces with the Texas Roadhouse Band in 2001. Known for their blistering live shows and tight three part harmonies, Shane Rogers and the Texas Roadhouse Band have quickly found themselves doing shows with the likes of Cross Canadian Ragweed, Jason Boland and Pat Green to name a few. 2003 saw a new chapter unfold for Shane Rogers. The release of "Texas Kind of Mood" proved what many die hard fans have known for some time. It's music to fall in love to, have a heartbreak, kick someone's ass and party till your mind melts all in one package. Shane's songwriting can hit you like two fists of barbwire and leave you bleeding only to come back with a ballad so sincere and heartfelt that you forgive him till the next round. We invite everyone to come to a live show or grab the new CD, pop a cold one and join the growing army of listeners that know that Shane Rogers and the Texas Roadhouse Band is a new musical force to be reckoned with.

there sure is alot of shit talking about shane. bottom line is that if you don't like shane's music then don't listen to it, but don't run him down because there plenty of people who like him. if you don't believe that then go to one of his shows and see how many people sing along. shane's is always very nice to anyone who talks to him. he has talent obviously has talent or he wouldn't play as many shows as he does. what i am trying to say is if you don't like him then don't listen, but let everybody else decide for themselves.

WRONG!!!!! I'm not a bartender, Blake. I'll tell you what, I'll make it real easy for you. Sunday and Tuesday at Buffalo Wild Wings, Wednesday at Fox and Hound, and Monday at West Texas Ice House. I'm sure you get off by talking shit from a computer. You're probably the type of guy that surfs the chat rooms hoping to find a date. I'm also sure now that I told you where I work, you'll be a quiet spectator at the back table, and ultimately talk more shit from the comfort of your PC. If not, come talk to me in person. Finally, and I do mean finally, because I will not post anything else, move on to another band you're jealous of and leave Shane alone. Shane and I will keep writing songs, he will keep making albums, thus pleasing me and all of his other fans. Shut up Blake and move on.

Well personally I like the CD. There seems to be no middle ground here. People either love it or hate it so I guess the guys are doing something right.

haha...it looks to me..that all of the five people that show up to shane's tuesday night show are tryin' to gang up on me...wasn't it yall that said..the intended purpose of the website was to review the CD...not just talk shit...now that's a contradiction, DUSTI:). So...this website is to review the CD..AND SHANE ROGERS. So my review of the CD..was "IT SUCKS"..and my review of SHANE ROGERS was "HE SUCKS"..so..let me write my review. Stop taking up for your buddy...it's all apart of the business...lets not make it personal. I have never met Shane or the band. But i have heard the CD..and i have been to a live show. oh...and by the way..."Mr. I'm a badass songwriter", your songs suck man..If i were you..i would keep pouring beers for a living. Sorry, but i'm just telling it like it is.
