I LOVE tommy alverson. His music is overall pretty good, and in person, he's a great guy. I get to see him once a year in dublin, texas and i must say he is amazing.
VERY entertaining CD. I had a good review thought of, but can't remember what it is now. Had it down when I clicked on the Review button, though. Sorry, Tommy.
God used a little piece of every ole oldie he could find and gave him a BIG TEXAS SIZED HEART and DIRT & RAY & RON & JERRY & THURSTON & MIKEY and that created TOMMY ALVERSON, and then he threw away the mold.
A great CD. I enjoyed Tommy's personal touches while combining the artists own styles. Got to listen to Mike G on "I Feel Like Drinkin". Great job Tommy !!!

Tommy Alverson is the man!!!!!
I have been a tremendous fan of Tommy Alverson since I first heard his music on KNON 89.3 in Dallas several years ago. We are all lucky to live in his time, because I believe many years from now when the topic of Texas Music comes up, Tommy Alverson's name will be required to clarify its meaning.
I have had the wonderful opportunity to have performed with this legend of Texas Music. And It thrills me everytime.Tommy is truly a gifted singer/songwriter/Guitarist.Though his music rings true to Texas, his songs far exceed the borders of this great state. If you ever get the chance to see and hear him live, jump on it,the word disappointed does not exist,he knows how to ROCK the House. He's also a hell of a nice guy.

Tommy Alverson has truely shown his love for hill-country music. The album titled song, "Me On The Jukebox" identifies with every singer/songwriter in there quest to make fame and sing songs about Texas. If no fame, then buy a bar and put yourself on the jukebox. You can put this CD in your truck and drive from Galveston to Hico, with no complaints. Good job Tommy!
