I was given this CD by a fellow FEMA worker while we were both deployed in Houston for the Katrina/Rita disasters. I was thrilled by the music, the guitar playing, and especially by Tish Hinojosa's intense and perfect soprano voice. It reminded me of Joan Baez, a comparison I hope she won't mind. I have played the spots off this CD and I never get tired of it.

Fantastic! Especially because it contains "Con su pluma en su mano" by Américo Paredes and "Farolito" by Agustín Lara and
"Déjame llorar" and that her mother sang it so well.

For those of you who have not heard Tish, you are missing one of the most talented voices in Texas music today. She's not flash and glitz; she's down to earth and real. Her voice is clear and haunting.
