Perhaps on of the most influential yet seldom imitated bluesmens of the early 20th Century, "Blind" Lemon Jefferson style of pickin' the guitar and singing is unique and still stirring after all these years. "Matchbox Blues" (since covered by Carl Perkins and the Beatles), "Black Snake Moan", and "He Rose" are my favorites and this album showcases Lemon's unpredictable guitar playing. A MUST FOR ANY DAMN FOOL "THINKS" HE CAN PLAY THE BLUES LIKE OR BETTER THE PEOPLE WHO STARTED AND STILL LIVE IT!!!!
