Hey Listener(s), you should really find good in all music. Time is long gone when we sound bash up great music b/c its political. Look into the determination and talent of BJs writing, listen to the music and voice. This CD I found quite unique yet bold. I enjoy the songs Hearts Don't Break Even; We Could Go To; Ricardo's Cadillac; Each Step You; and truly think there is a dance that goes well with 'we're marching toward the ...'. I will support Brandon Jenkins no matter what he writes because he is a good person with much talent and so very young.

I hate when songs don't talk about beer, and not one songs says Texas in it. You should never be 'Politico" in songs look how it worked out for unknowns like Willie, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Steve Earl, Bob Dylan, Merle Haggard, Bob Marley, Neil Young... you never hear of any of them anymore.

I used to really like Brandon, but this cd is terrible. 1) he goes political, and I believe if you have not done something or been threw it, just keep it to yourself....I dont like it when bands or celebs get political..and 2) you cant have 1 good song and a bunch of fillers..he tries to save this cd with friends coming along to play, but this cd is a wreck......im sorry....
