I spent the weekend in Nashville. I saw a lot of bands, she was by far the best. Absolutley awesome!

Had the pleasure of seeing Tift for the first time last night on Austin City Limits....I'm hooked! Can't wait to buy some of her music and see her live sometime soon. She is a superb talent and gorgeous!

I had the joy of hearing Tift Merritt,on PBS this last week,I'm hooked,she is beyond super,I went straight to computer,to Walmart downloads,got myself some of her super talent on my harddrive,why she isn't on CMT with something is just crazy.

Saw Tift at cd release party at Cats Cradle Saturday. She actually played Frday and Saturday. Sold out both shows. She is great. The new cd takes a few listens to warm up to, but it is every bit as good as Bramble Rose. Tamborine leans a little to r&b, which fits her voice. There are some great up tempo songs also. Highly recommend this cd to any Tift fans. I love local talent and Tift is the best in this area since Ryan Adams.

What a great first album. I have been playing bthis in my CD player for the past week and I keep finding more and more things I like.
