As much as I hate to, I can only quote my arch-nemesis Tobey when describing this place, "I love this bar!" They hire real Texas musicians, like Tracey Bird. Scratch yeah!

This place is huge! I went up there to meet up with my guy friend, Possum, but I could not find him!

I'm grew up in Fort Worth and in Billy Bob's for that matter. The place is legend and is HUGE. There will always be great Texas music played here no doubt. To me though it has become a tourist trap. For a big show like Cross Canadian or Willie the place is packed and if you don't have a table up front you will probably find yourself watching the show on the big screen TV and hearing a muffled sound come through from the low ceilings which will also obstruct your view. If you have a table with a backstage pass though get ready to feel the pulse of Texas music. The backstage bar has numerous pictures with autographs of some the biggest names in country all over it's walls. All in all if you have never been to Billy Bob's you must go check it out but make sure to give the bars down the way on Exchange Ave. a shot as well because Billy Bob's likes to end it's shows about 12:30 and that leaves an hour and a half for drinkin'.

This has got to be the best place to catch live music. I am from New Mexico and it blew me away. It's a must see for anyone visiting or living in Texas. Best bar/ honky tonk ever.
