The place is a big, cold, room with no soul. Just a bunch of people wanting to hook up and unfriendly staff and managers. Hated it....worst venue in the world.

The staff is not friendly and the athmosphere either. It's a pity because great artists come to play in this place.

This is the best Honky Tonk in TEXAS! If you want a taste of Texas night life you got to come to this place and check it out. Live rodeo, Machanical Bull, ICE Cold Beer and enought Booze to wet your pallet. There is something for everybody here for all ages. It's fun for the whole Family! I'm A long time guest at Far West and would recommend it to any visitor or someone that wants something alittle different. Great for sigles also!!! Enjoy an all American Honky Tonk Far West in San Antonio!

I went to this place often when I was in San Antonio going to the Army's radiology program. It was one of the only things that kept me sane during school. It was always filled with beautiful women of all ages, ice cold beer and good whisky. What more could you ask for?
