This venue pays bands half of what other venues in town pay for a Fri/Sat night band, this does not include lodging for the band and everyone knows how expensive it is to stay in Fredericksburg. So please tip the bands when they play great music and mention that Texas Musicians deserve to be paid fairly and venues that tout we are "Fredericksburg’s #1 venue for Texas Country Music”, should not be riding the backs of musicians unless they are going compensate them accordingly.

It is good to see Mr. Wilkins coming back here. He is definitely one of my favorites. Yea!

Great music! The Cosmic Dust Devils really rocked the house. Always good food and friendly service! Really neat place to spend an evening in Fredericksburg. Jeff and the gang are certainly turning this place into a haven for Texas Country Music. THE place to find live music (except maybe Luckenbach, but the Auslander has great food and hundreds of beers!) in the Hill Country.

We had a great time at the Auslander. They have over 80 beers and we tried to drink as many as we could. The food was good as well as the music. By far the best place in Fredericksburg!

The music was great and the steaks were incredible. This is a wonderful venue for food, drink, and awesome Texas music!

This place is great! They have everything - great food, friendly service, awesome atmosphere (I love the biergarten) and great Texas music. We will be back often!
