All Oklahoma peeps, watch your tab at the Wormy Dog!! I was there for RK in December. They decided to charge me twice!! So, after paying $50 bucks in gas, $100 for a hotel, $50 for taxi, $40 for tickets, they decide to charge my tab twice!! I called the next day and talked to a rude little girl that said the manger was “too busy” and he would have to call me back. Finally the next day after no return call, I called back again. I talked to the manager and he said he would take care of it and call me back THAT afternoon. Of course, no return call. So, I call back the next day and find out that the are gone to Steamboat!! Hey WD, great customer service!!! So, I finally disputed the charges with my bank and file a complaint to the BBB in OKC. This in no way, reflects any of the bands that play out there or CCR. They just need better management there!!

This is such a travesty. Wormy Dog in OKC? It is not the same, and never will be the same, not just in my mind, but I am sure in the minds of many others that fortunate enough to go to the original Wormy Dog. What made Wormy Dog so special was the fact that it resided in Stillwater. The starting place of such singers as Garth Brooks, CCR, Jason Boland, Stoney, etc. The birthplace of the "Red Dirt" music style. Now located in OKC? It is just a shame what the greed of some will do that changes the world around them, without having care for what people might think about the change. The only constant in this world is change, but change was never needed when it came to Wormy Dog. But past memories will never fade of the original Wormy Dog, but new ones will not be made with this imitation Wormy Dog. My rating would be 0 stars if this site would allow me, and I have never been to this new one. My opinion is just based on the fact that, yes time does continue to go by (hell I graduated from OSU in 2001, and it seems like forever ago), but just because time goes by, does that mean that due to greed or profit things have to change? Could you imagine if Billy Bob's moved from Fort Worth to say Houston? Would it be the same Billy Bob's to you? Or what if El Arroyo moved out of Austin to say El Paso? Would that be the same El Arroyo to you?
