Long Way To Mexico
Roger deserves 5 stars: he has a very touching voice, the album is never boring as so much country-albums released recently. the mexican influences are outstaking, the music is produced perfect, the changing between wonderful ballads and faster songs makes this a masterpiece of new country. Dont hesitate to buy it.

Long Way To Mexico
This albumn is awesome- I love all of roger's CDs. He has become one of my favorites. I know it is not just like his first two but it still has great songs and originality. Those who didn't like it should go to a concert because you can't fully appreciate roger until you've seen him live. I love all the different sounds on the the albumn and definitely recommend it!

I loved "Having Fun All Wrong", couldn't wait for his next album. "I Got The Guns" was a bit of a disappointment, but still, it had a few good songs on it. I was hoping he would rebound with his 3rd album...he didn't. I think I've probably bought my last Roger Creager CD, there's too many new Texas artists sprouting up all the time to spend my entertainment dollar on CD's with only one or two good songs.

Long Way To Mexico
This review is long overdue from me, I've had the album for months. It makes me sad to see some of the bad reviews on this website for this album. I will forgive these poor souls for not understanding what really good production sounds like. There are so many new sounds on this album. I believe that of all the artists in the Texas country genre Roger has the voice that stands out. You always know its him. Some may think that this album is commercial. Newsflash: (Roger still writes the songs). If you think its not the Roger style you haven't been to a show in 2 years. Not every song is the "Everclear" song. I'm really happy with this album and the club really likes "Love is so sweet". I am sorry for bashing the bad reviewers like this but you need to listen to the album again at a concert. You might change your mind....................Brad

I am extremely dissappointed with this album. Roger, who are you trying to be...Sinatra, Lyle Lovett? What happened to Roger style? Everyone made such a stink about Pat going mainstream...Roger where are you going? If anyone is interested...I have a Roger Creager CD for sale. It is like new...only been played twice!

Long Way To Mexico
This is one great CD. Roger breaks from the usual confines of country music and stretches it a bit. Best song on the CD by far is I Say When I Drink What I Think When I'm Sober. A bit jazzy, but downright catchy...and truthful. Other standouts include Love is So Sweet, Long Way to Mexico, Gypsyland, and Love is Crazy. The duet with Kevin Fowler on Shreveport to New Orleans absolutely rocks with a hint of Cajun flavor. Great CD!

Long Way To Mexico
Good album, i cant say its as good as his previous 2, but every album that comes out can't always top its previous, especially "having fun all wrong", anyway, i dont know what these other reviewers are talking about, especially the one who didnt like the cover of the album, purty damn cool if you ask me!

Long Way To Mexico
i think this album is the best roger has put out. his voice is incredible and so are the lyrics. it is good to hear something different in the texas music scene, instead everyone else out there who sounds the same. and as for the "wimpy sacks of shit" writing these bad reviews, screw off, you are probably one of those idiots that just wants to hear songs about texas, beer or gruene hall...yeah, that's talent!

First Pat and now this. There are maybe three songs on this CD worth listening to, Long Way to Mexico is great. I dont know what happened to Roger since the last CD which absolutely rocked but this ones not recommended
