James can make one guitar sound like two. With lyrics that run deep, and plays it with raw guitar and raw energy. It is hard to find musicians and songwriters like him. He is like no one I have ever heard.

Unbelievable. I thought balladeers were a thing of the past. Most compelling guitar work I've heard since Mark Knopfler. Everyone I play this for says, "who IS this guy?" His music gets in your head and stays there. His lyrics make you laugh and cry. Check it out!

I picked this CD out of a hat--never even heard of this guy---absolutely blew me away--i would have loved to have been at these shows--theres just a raw energy that comes across in this CD that draws you in and keeps you coming back for more---I now own three of his earlier records and am dying to see him LIVE.....

Went to see James at Love N War, he and the band had started the set, and I walked aroud expecting to see at least 5 pieces because of the sound I was shocked to see 3 guys on stage, this guy gets more out of one guitar than anyone I have ever seen. This album rocks!!! Butch
