When I bought this CD I had no idea of how good it would be it is one of the best in my collection and by far the most listened to I highly recommened it

its gary p. nothing usual about that, i strongly disagree with the reviewer asserting too many gimmick songs. Its fun, I get it, you should too.

I might agree with the reviewer who says it is not as good as he expected. Except that I keep playing it over ... and over ... and over ...

When I bought this cd I thought I'd be listening to a whole lot more than I actually have been. It has its moments, but there are too many 'joke' songs (for lack of a better term) like "Red Neck Riviera," "Cow Pasture Pool" (a song about golf!?! Why?), and "Here's To Horses" (although when you put it like Gary P. does, being a ladies saddle for eternity sounds okay - you get to be "between the two things I love most"). Two of my favorites on this cd are "Taking Bob Back To Tulsa" and "Honking Out Some Hank." These are worthy tribute songs. The rest of the cd is not what I expected, though. It has its moments, but it's pretty uneven and goes back and forth between good and not-so-good songs.
