What I'm For
Album Review
I must say, complete sell out!!! but the reason i keep it from being one star is the fact that Pat still writes most of his music. so the songwriter is still there and he had 80+ songs to pick from and the record guys picked these (according to his interview on Sirius) So, he went to nashville to make the big bucks, everyone in their job field will go to where the money is, just the way of life. so i dont blame him for that just dont dont turn and burn or piss on your fan base that made you who you are. Come on was it really neccessary to remake Carry On and take the soul and fame out of it??? Then on Sirius when youre being interviewed and bad mouth the fans cause they are saying you sold out, heck didn't he write a song with the lyrics, "I gave up on Nashville a long time ago". just defending yourself when being bad mouth, got it, but it doesn't mean the words aren't true, truth hurts. Now i still tip my hat to him cause he helped put the TX Music Scene where its at giving us many of singers/bands to fill his shoes when he left for the money and national fame (and drank the record guys kool-aid).

I am from Utah and I agree that since he went to Nashville his music changed. Pat the only reason I liked your music was cause it was different, it was country. Pard Nashiville aint country, they are plastic and they are wanna bees. Get back to your roots pal you'll sell more records.

I screwed up that was suppose to be 1 star on my original post. "I gave up on Nashville a long time ago". What a joke. What's next Pat?? How about a duet with Carrie Underwood?? That should really set your career on fire. I mean if selling out isn't enough.

Can you say SELLOUT. YEA Pat sold out to Nashville. I find it hard to enjoy his old music now. On this album he has the same producer that Rascal Flatts and Keith Urban have. Absolutely horrible. Hey Pat enjoy your fame, but don't mess with Texas.

Its real simple the man did what he had to do to make it.... If your a true pat green fan then you will like his music no matter where it comes from (Nashville or Texas). Don't down the man for going to nashville trying to make some money doing what he loves. If you don't like his music then don't buy his cd's but put yourself in his shoes before you talk trash about him and try to be human if at all possible.

To all the haters, I understand, Pat Green did changed his style since he moved to NashVegas!!! But what I can't figure out is how you can't get your head out of your butts to actually LISTEN to the music on this CD!!! I agree, on Lucky Ones, you could actually see where Pat went from his "Texas Roots" to the manufactured Nashville sound, right after "College". As far as Cannonball goes, it should have never been produced, it sucked. Although "Dixie Lullaby" was really good. Now, he puts out an amazing record, except for one song which sounds like Rascal Fags should be singing it, "Let Me", and you people who are listening to this, obviously can't understand that this is probably the closest to "Texas Roots" music that Pat has had since he left Texas and moved to Nashville!!! Even though I was about to give up on Pat, I am EXTREMELY glad that I bought this album and might actually give Pat another chance on his next album!!!

This is probably one of the worst records ever!! Whatever happened to the "George's Bar, Dancehall Dreamer, Take me out to the dancehall"? Pat "Nashville" Green you are no longer wanted in Texas. It has nothing to do with signing a record deal, their are numerous bands who have deals and they still don't let Nashville tell them how to make music. Keep hanging out with Tim McGraw and Kenny Chesney because you sound just like them.........Horrible and a Nashville puppet
