The first song I ever sang was Hank William's,"There's a tear in my beer." The rest of my childhood I was just just playin around pickin flowers while dad wrote songs with artists like Todd Snider and Slaid Cleaves. We used to travel all over Texas for festivals, but some of the best shows I ever saw were at Cheatham Street and Gruene hall.
