New album "United We Fall" is follow-up to recent EP’s “Storm Breaking” & “Someone Like You”, which spent 12 weeks on Ireland’s national RTE Radio 1 playlist alongside Hozier, Rufus Wainwright & Roseanne Cash, and received 1000's of spins across Australian, Canadian, Danish, Irish, Swedish, UK & US radio (incl. BBC R2, BBC 6Music, GotRadio, KCSN, SiriusXM, StingRay, Sveriges P4).

Picking up #60 on AMA’s US airplay chart, awarding them a second IASCA Irish Radio Artist nomination, “Push Those Keys” premiering on MusicNinja and Nashville’s chief critic Robert Oermann calling “Storm Breaking a pleading, heartfelt ballad with a lustrous, layered, dreamy instrumental arrangement that is extremely pleasing. I’ve liked these guys before. I wish they’d send me a whole album one of these days.”

Forming the core of First Aid Kit’s live band, the London Irish brothers new album was successfully PledgeMusic funded, mixed by Matt Kemp (Ry Cooder), mastered by Denis Blackham (Elvis Costello), and released through own artist/indie label.

With additional musical input from uncles Ray & Leo Duffy (mandolin & fiddle), Grand Ole Opry performers, who supported the likes of Johnny Cash back in the early 80‘s, the brothers infuse their own influences Steve Earle, Wilco, Little Feat, Shawn Colvin, The Band, Emmylou Harris to give them their unique americana, folk-rock style.

Melvin Duffy’s pedal steel & slide guitar skills have been put to use by many great artists around the world, including David Gilmore, Robbie Williams, The Waterboys, Squeeze and First Aid Kit.
