Though considered her debut album, Catie Offerman is no stranger to the stage and the studio. Currently at the age of 17, Catie has been playing professionally the past 7 years with artists such as Grammy award-winning Bobby Flores, Robert Earl Keen, Terry Cavanagh, Mark McKinney, Grammy nominated Alex Meixner, David Beck, Matt King, Charlie Shafter, and Brave Combo – just to name a few. She has opened for artists such as Andrea Bochelli, Kevin Fowler, Eli Young, Roger Creager, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Stoney Larue, and many others. Her musical abilities range from playing fiddle, mandolin, piano, guitar, and accordion to singing and writing songs. “Gone” features her co-written songs with Bill Whitbeck, bassist for Robert Earl Keen. This CD is a small representation of who she is as a musician and writer. Her first CD, “Memories,” was released back in 2007. She recently wrote and recorded a Christmas single, “Honky Tonk Christmas,” which aired world-wide on XM radio and stations across Texas.
Catie is currently a sophomore in college and was recently awarded a scholarship to Berklee College of Music in Boston. She plans on attending in the fall. Catie has recently formed her own band! “It’s a whole new sound and a whole new me,” says Catie. Make sure to keep your eyes open for her new upcoming single titled, “Kissin’ In the Dark.”
