Haden Burchard was born in Sterling City, TX in 1989 and moved around West Texas until he ended up in San Angelo where he graduated from Central High School in 2008.  He spent his summers on the lake, wakeboarding and fishing, driving around the pastures, and hunting with his friends.  Inspired by a meet and greet with Eli Young Band at the age of 16, Haden picked up a guitar his sophomore year of high school and began to play songs for his friends at campfires, tailgates, and house parties.

After working his way through high school as a livestock auction hand, waiter, and a lifeguard, Haden enrolled at Texas Tech University where, as a high school senior, he had heard legends of beautiful girls, big parties, and good times.  In pursuit of all three, Haden joined the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity and began playing acoustic shows in Lubbock.  Then, within an hour of posting flyers around campus, he formed his first band which immediately booked local venues, fraternity parties, and benefit shows.

Haden reaches into his emotional experiences through failed relationships as a source of inspiration for his songs, offsetting the heartaches with a healthy dose of good old-fashioned fun, expressing his feelings through his songs.  He aspires to write songs for a diverse audience in order to connect with as many people as possible in as many stations of life as possible.  Through his songwriting, Haden endeavors to comfort the lovesick, cheer with the lovestruck, and simply celebrate life with folks at all points between.

He looks forward to touring in support of his first album "Wrapped Up" which he recorded in the summer of 2011 and he foresees even more writing and performing in his future, hoping to appeal especially to female listeners.  His musical influences include Pat Green, Cory Morrow, Roger Creagor, Robert Earl Keen, and Josh Abbott.  Fans of Casey Donahew's distinctive voice will likely be drawn to that of Burchard's.  He is looking for his place among these acts, and finds gratification in writing songs that emphasize positive thinking in a world of negativity, providing a passageway between lyrical fantasy and truth in the interest of the common good.

Says Haden Burchard about this positive approach to his career, "I love to dwell on the beauties of life.  Not only the beauty of life but the quality of life in which we are blessed to be able to live.  It is important to me to do everything I can to fulfill my ambitions on a day-to-day basis while being as happy as I can."
