In March of 2008, Bryan Russell Boyce, Kyle Reed, Robby Fernandez, and Kendall Merryman walked into Austin, Texas’ Ramble Creek Studio with one thing in mind, “make some damn good music! No borders, no boundaries.” Working with studio owner/engineer Britton Beisenherz and producer Matt Powell, Hero’s Prayer walked out of the studio six months later with a self-titled debut CD featuring expressive songwriting, distinctive melodies, crafty musicianship, and extraordinary vocals, holding in hand an original record capable of stirring every human emotion, track by track. It is this ability to excite emotion from the stage that first propelled Hero’s Prayer to the forefront of San Antonio, Texas’ live music scene within just one year together, as word spread of live performances packed with raw energy, creative expression, and passionate fans. With the release of the self titled CD, “Hero’s Prayer”, radio promotion, publicity, and booking support in place, and the experience and exposure of nearly 100 live shows from Texas to Oklahoma, Hero’s Prayer is focused on bringing truly original music to the world, straight from Texas!
