Hailing from Lewisville, Texas, their music has been described as Country, Country Rock, Americana and “other” depending on who you’re asking. Regardless of how you choose to label it, one thing is certain – it’s music that comes from the heart and just about anybody that listens will find themselves relating to it. The group released their debut album “Big Texas Sky” in March ’09 featuring their first single “Dance All Night” which was well accepted by radio and achieved impressive chart status. In November ’09 the group hit the studio once again. The result of those sessions was a powerful four track EP titled “Home” which features the single “Married Thing”, the band's first Top 40 on the Texas Music Chart reaching #38, as well as two more brand new originals and a masterful rendition of the Little Feat classic “Willin”. Currently The Kat Moore Band is preparing to begin production on a brand new project in December 2010 that is scheduled for a February 2011 release.
