Born May 2nd, 1974 in Austin, Texas, Kevin started performing at the age of 12 and comes from a long line of musical talent. He wrote his first song "Sittin' On The Front Porch", in Rockport, Texas at age 15. At this time Kevin started seriously thinking that writing and performing his unique brand of Texas music would fulfill his lifelong ambition. He began to form bands and play private parties and small clubs, always looking forward to the next show. After graduating high school, Kevin attended college in Austin before transferring to Texas A&M University. There he gained exposure to Lyle Lovett, Robert Earl Keen and various other Texas artists, which founded the basis for Kevin's style. While living in College Station, Kevin had the opportunity to perform with many different musicians he held in high regard including Gary P. Nunn, The Derailers, Jack Ingram, and others. He has been a guest on various Texas radio shows including The Lonestar Lounge on KCTI and festivals including the annual Tex Fest in Luling, Texas. Kevin currently lives in Austin and performs with his band, 110 In The Shade, who have a combined musical experience of over 75 years. They have performed worldwide and are monthly mainstays at the world famous Broken Spoke in Austin, the definitive Texas Honky Tonk! Kevin also performed at the 35th Annual Broken Spoke birthday party with Texas greats Chris Wall, Alvin Crow, Don Walser and Dale Watson.

Kevin went to school with my daughter and was often at our home. We've heard Kevin singin' & playin' on our back porch and down at the Guadlupe on numerous occasions. He is one of the most talented singer/songwriters since Robert Earl Keen. 'Time Spent' is one of our favorites on this album but there are so many good songs, it's unreal. If you love Texas music, you will love this CD, I garahntee!

For those of you out there with a deep love for texas music, Kevins music is a must! With his deep, slightly gravely voice and a guitar that never misses a lick, you gotta love him. This CD is destined to be a classic, although I prefer to hear him live around a campfire. Thanks for sharing your talent Kevin!!!!!! CK and Debbie

There's not enough said about Kevin and his music. His C.D., Bluebonnet Blues, is one of the greatest ever produced and his songs could be the anthem for Texas."Just Like theBlowin' Wind" was played at my wedding and Kevin performed it live at our reception. It's too bad that he doesn't get more air time on the radio. I'm anxiously awaiting the next C.D., which should have the "White -Trash Wedding Reception" song on it in honor of the wedding reception that took place on July 24, 1999 (in Whitney). Kevin, stay true to your roots.
