You will never find a more true Texas artist than Kevin Smith! I am proud to call Kevin a great friend. And I know that our friendship has made me into the person I am today. You have to own this album!!!
Kevin went to school with my daughter and was often at our home. We've heard Kevin singin' & playin' on our back porch and down at the Guadlupe on numerous occasions. He is one of the most talented singer/songwriters since Robert Earl Keen.
'Time Spent' is one of our favorites on this album but there are so many good songs, it's unreal.
If you love Texas music, you will love this CD, I garahntee!
This CD is awesome...it was given to me several years ago, he said "this guy is awesome" well enough said if you are looking at the reviews of Kevin Smith, you already know how KICK-ASS he is!!!
This is a great CD. I have a copy that was selectively distributed a while ago, and it is great. i love blue bonnet blues and if texas aint heaven.
Pat? Cory? Who needs those guys when we have Kevin Smith. This guy is awesome. I caught his show in Austin and go to see him every chance I get. A deep truly texas voice and an awesome show man. Everyone check out the cd Its great. I bought it and it hasn't left my cd player in like 4 months.
For those of you out there with a deep love for texas music, Kevins music is a must! With his deep, slightly gravely voice and a guitar that never misses a lick, you gotta love him. This CD is destined to be a classic, although I prefer to hear him live around a campfire. Thanks for sharing your talent Kevin!!!!!!

A friend left this cd and I listened to it. I liked it alot. When others heard it, they liked it too. It is a great cd.
There's not enough said about Kevin and his music. His C.D., Bluebonnet Blues, is one of the
greatest ever produced and his songs could be the anthem for Texas."Just Like theBlowin' Wind" was played
at my wedding and Kevin performed it live at our reception. It's too bad that he doesn't get more air time on the
radio. I'm anxiously awaiting the next C.D., which should have the "White -Trash Wedding Reception" song on it in honor
of the wedding reception that took place on July 24, 1999 (in Whitney).
Kevin, stay true to your roots.
I have had this cd for about 2 years and still listen to it at least once a day. This guy is great , too bad most people have never heard of him.
This Album is excellent. This is a must for any Texas music fans collection.
