"Its about the geography, it's about where were from. This is Texas. It's what country music is all about" Lonesome Goat formed in 2003 and is quickly making a name for themselves. Their newly released CD "Sunburst Beauty" is getting rave reviews from fans and fellow musicians alike. The "Texas Music" sound is constantly evolving and this band is pushing the limits in every direction. With influences ranging from bluegrass to western swing, to straight up rock and roll, these guys cover the spectrum. The lead singer, Dave Regal, has played and recorded with Matt Martindale of Cooder Graw, shared the stage and jammed with the likes of Cody Canada, Susan Gibson, and Gary Wayne Thomason. The Album was recorded at AMP Recording in Amarillo and was produced by the band and Drew Holder. It was mastered by Billy Stull at Masterpiece Mastering in Wimberly, Texas "Give this band a chance and you will not be let down. They can hold a crowd in their seats till 2:00A.M. everytime. They are the real deal" Arcadio Rivera-Booking Manager for the famous Goldenlight Cantina "Very original song writing along with top notch musicians make this one of the most exciting bands I've seen in a long time" Eric Slayter-General Manager of Cumulus Broadcasting in Amarillo Watch for Lonesome Goat in your neck of the woods. The guys are currently booking shows all over Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Clorado. Their Goal: "To play every honky tonk between Amarillo and San Antone." Listen to the CD, or even better, catch them live. You will not be disappointed. Suggested listening: “Sunburst Beauty,” the title track, has a honky tonk rhythm and really shows the spirit of the band. "Pentacostal" is a darker song that rings with a traditional feel of old mountain music. "Nicotine" has the retro blues swing thing happenin. All in all every song on this CD is unique and special. Enjoy. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact the band. Thank you for the opportunity to spread the word about Lonesome Goat

This is a very cool diverse album. About the time you think you have the band figured out, they change directions. Very cool. I highly recommend it.
