Lance Burnett
Frontman and lead vocalist for Under the Influence. When Lance is not singing, he is most likely working the day Job -- Texas Department of Transportation. That’s right, he builds and maintains some of the very roads you will travel to come see him. Lance has always been interested in music but it was not until 1994 that he learned to play the guitar. He did some accoustic work with one time band member Mark Hertel before he and Mark joined what was the beginning of Under the Influence.
Dalton Hembree:
Dalton can’t remember not playing a guitar. He played in bands with his dad when he was younger. He had a heavy metal band before he started the evolution process that would eventually become Under The Influence. When Dalton is not cranking out a solid bottom for the band he can be found at his “day job”. Currently he is working for the Texas Department of Transportation. (keeping Lance in line)
Jeremy Jowers:
Got first guitar at age five. I don’t feel comfortable if I don’t have at least one guitar within arms reach. I enjoy playing video games, rollerblading (yeah, a fat boy on blades), drag racing, and annoying everybody by watching any and all versions of Star Trek (yeah, I’m a trekie... get over it!) I attempt to make a living cleaning flat cars for a railroad subcontractor. I am also a full time student.
John St.Clair:
Lives in Wichita Falls, Texas and is employed by the North Texas State Hospital as a Network Administrator. Before joining Under The Influence, John played with Corey Brasher and Michael Leal in the 3:1 Band and has been playing drums and guitar since he was 15 years old.
Rodney Janes:
Lives in Seymour where he works at West Texas Culverts as supervisor of the welding shop. Rodney was the former sound man for UTI until he formed his own band, Rising Sun. His unique song-writing talents are a welcome addition to Under the Influence. Rodney had been playing guitar for 8 years and has written a number of songs.
