Pat Green Putting His 'Own Stank' on Next Album

Before skyrocketing into the Billboard Top 3 with his 2003 smash, 'Wave on Wave,' from his gold-certified album of the same name, Pat Green had already self-released three albums. Three major label albums followed, with 2009's 'What I'm For' being the last for BNA Records. Following his exit from that label, the Texas sensation has been searching for a new musical home that will give him a creative hand in what kind of music he makes from here on out. After two years, he thinks he's found it.

"We are in negotiation now to put some [music] out, and man, I am excited as I can be," Pat tells Chicago's US99.5 radio (quote via Taste of Country). " I loved being with my previous record label -- I'd never say a bad word about them," he hastens to clarify. "I was just kind of tired of my music being so corporate-sized and just so handled."

The singer goes on to exude enthusiastic anticipation over putting his own, www.repsswiss.com unique Texas stamp on his new music after so many years.

"I'm really excited that the guys I'm going to be working with next are going to let me do my thing and get a little bit more of my own stank on the music, if you will," he explains with a laugh.
