Recently, red dirt rowdy Jason Boland and his Stragglers have been blowing through Iowa, Kansas and back into Colorado, reliving a ton of memories made while recording their most recent CD, “High in the Rockies: A Live Album.”

The album was recorded in Laramie, Wyo., and parts of Colorado, including the 2010 MusicFest in Steamboat Springs.

The band had actually planned on recording a live album during the annual MusicFest much earlier, but according to the album’s CD jacket, it all came to a halt because “…gremlins and conspirators kept it at bay.”
