Country music legend Willie Nelson was offered a sweet deal by West Texas prosecutors Friday, attempting to resolve his November 26 arrest for marijuana charges by making him sing in the court room.
County Attorney Kit Bramblett recommended the singer plead guilty, pay fines and sing “Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain,” reports the Associated Press. Bramblett made his recommendations to Hudspeth County's Judge Becky Dean-Walker, who accordignto the AP, “specifically demanded that Nelson appear in court instead of pleading by mail.”
