Saw Charlie up close and personal at the Gruene Hall 08/30/08, rocked the house he did. Happy Birthday to him. Love the long, curly hair. Can't wait to hear the new album. Also, I love/love the video for "Photograph"!! The best is yet to come, make it a great year!
We finally got to see Charlie again. April 25 2008 at Big City Dance Hall in Clear Lake, Texas. He was great as always. I was a little disappointed that he didn't sign autographs after the concert. We waited around for an hour waiting for him. Charlie, if you're reading this please go get a hair cut for me. You are so much cuter with shorter hair. Also, I'm sorry to hear about your divorce from Emily. Thanks
I saw this "Nashville Sellout" at Gruene Hall last Saturday; he spent an hour signing cd's, hats, t-shirts, and anything else his fans wanted after the show in a no a/c dancehall that holds 300 people. The guy's no Nashville type. Don't be bitter cuz yer ugly; it only makes you ugly AND bitter.
Just saw Charlie last Saturday at Gruene Hall; it was kick ass and so is this album. This album had almost the same set list, the sound is great, and it really captures the atmosphere of a Gruene Hall show. Charlie was joined onstage by a young soldier just in from Iraq. They had sung "My Hometown" onstage there together, and Charlie had made the soldier promise to perform it here with him when he got back to the USA. The crowd sang along, and the kid was obviously so happy and relieved to be home that my cynical ass teared up. If you like Texas singer/songwriters and good times, Charlie's yer man.
I saw Charlie at Gruene Hall in late or August. Or was it early September? Don't matter, Charlie rocked it. It was the best concert ever. It was his birthday. He knows how to put on a show.

my husband and i have seen charlie robison several times and we love his music, and have a great time everytime we see him. we had to move to oklahoma in 2006 and had a baby in may 2006 and hope to one day get to see him again. i will have to say i really miss texas and seeing all the texas artists in concert.great work charlie and all of you other texas artists out there.laurie
