Charlie 'kicks ass' with this album. The "Wedding song", where he selects a few from the audience to sing a few lines, is pure Texas country and exemplifies the love his fans have for him and his music.
BEWARE of Nashville man! You know who your true fans are. If you leave them for promises of the masses then you'll be joining the ranks of Rushlow and Josh Turner... one hit and then not only do you lose your fan base in TX for selling out, but the rest of coutry music will toss you out when you give them their flavor of the month. Make your name famous, don't let them do it. Don't become another victim of music row. You are getting a lot of TX attention. And the feelings are mixed. But, your show at the Ponderosa was excellent.

Loving County stands as one of the greatest songs ever. A masterpiece. Most of Robison's music is very very well written. The main problem is he has been playing pretty much the same songs for years.
THE VERY FIRST CONCERT I SEEN CHARLIE PERFORM AT WAS GRUENE HALL, AND I HAVE TO SAY I WAS VERY IMPRESSED. THAT NIGHT MADE ME A LIFETIME FAN TO THIS DAY. I WAS NOT TO CRAZY ABOUT THE LIFE OF THE PARTY LIVE CD AT FIRST BUT IT DEFINITELY GREW ON ME. I LOVE IT AND PLAY IT IN MY CAR EVERY SINGLE DAY NON STOP. I HAVE MET CHARLIE AFTER ON OF HIS CONCERTS IN FT.WORTH AND I MUST SAY HE WAS A VERY NICE PERSON. HE ROCKS AND I WILL BE A FAN FOR LIFE....
CHARLIE IS THE BEST ENTERTAINER. I HAVE BEEN TO MANY OF HIS CONCERTS, AND HE IS AWESOME. I LOVE HIS MUSIC AND HIS PERFORMANCES. HE SEEMS SO LAID BACK AND OUTGOING, AND I THINK THAT IS WHAT I LOVE ABOUT CHARLIE THE BEST.....
