It's about time for the JGB! It's one thing to like an artist & his background; it's another to have experienced it. I relate to the subject matter on this album. El Paso, Las Cruces, Juarez... been there - do that, still. It's good to hear west Texas & southern New Mexico get the praise it deserves. Thanks, Josh.

I recently received a copy of Josh Grider's cd in the mail and have had a hard time getting it out of my cd player. It's not very often that I can listen to a cd all the way through and then listen to it again. Josh and the guys have a bright future ahead. I look forward to attending one of their shows soon. Keep up the good work guys.

I completely agree with aggie there. Did you even listen to the lyrics? I would like to know who you consider to be a great lyrical composer, Kenny fucking Chesney?

What the fuck does, "... but they really can't write songs worth a fuck. These boys are simply the same as the other "dime-a-dozens" wannabe Texas rock stars that are littering this site." mean? Did you just learn the phrase 'dime-a-dozen' and couldn't wait to use it as you don the mantle of a critic? Or is this the result of having a little piss-ass almost-band that didn't work and envy has brought the bands that do achieve anything at all to the simple-minded classified as 'litter,' by an all-knowing blog-jockey strumming his way through some campfire Staind and calling himself Hendrix?

He has a good voice but I do not believe he is very original. Sure, his songs are his own, but he sounds like many others that I have heard. I wish him well though.

There's just too many bands that are doing the same damn thing these days. They can play instruments, but they really can't write songs worth a fuck. These boys are simply the same as the other "dime-a-dozens" wannabe Texas rock stars that are littering this site. Im sick of it.

I like Josh Grider. However, I wish he would start booking better places to play when he comes to College Station. Ugly's Pub has been ripping him off. I wish Grider could see that. He is better than that.
