Best CD of the year, actually except "Walk between the Raindrops" - which was a good CD, every James McMurtry CD is a contender for best CD of the year. There is no better song writter around, and the music rocks too.

I'm a giant James McMurtry fan. I have all of his CDs. They are great! I believe the depth of his song writing really shines in this CD. Its his best by far. Hope to see him soon in concert.

I was turned on to James Mcmurty at a show in Houston. He played at the Mucky Duck off Kirby and it was great. I bought two of his albums that night and have been listening to them since. I have had some trouble finding concert dates lately, I have moved to Austin, and if I ever find out about a concert here, I will go. If you have the chance to listen to his music, don't pass it up

He has to be considered the best Texas songwriter currently. Great guitar player,convincing vocalist and master storyteller. If fame were based on merit he would be the king of Texas.
