Possibly the most well written and best produced of all of Mr. Snider's cds to date. This cd is only surpassed by one thing, Mr. Snider's live show. If you haven't seen him live you haven't heard anything yet. If you are within 500 miles of one of his shows and your schedule permits and you don't go, you only have yourself to blame.
I've been a Todd Snider fan for several years, and I've always been crazy about his songs. His new live CD captures the magic of his art, and showcases his unique talent. What a great songwriter - what a guy!
Snider's songwriting shines on this record as does Will Kimbrough's production. It is as wry as Snider has ever been with a tasty dark side that we've rarely seen. All balanced with Todd's playful nature and this is one for the ages. It's quickly become my favorite Snider album.
